Tendencias urbanas: habitar futuros automáticos

Resumen


Para responder a la pregunta "¿Cuál es el futuro de nuestras ciudades?" debemos buscar respuestas fuera de los perímetros institucionales. En este intervención exploro la intersección entre el capitalismo de plataforma y el urbanismo, y analizo el impacto de las plataformas digitales y las grandes empresas tecnológicas en el diseño, la gobernanza y el uso del espacio urbano. Trabajaré en la yuxtaposición entre dos corrientes principales de literatura, la de las ciudades inteligentes y la del urbanismo de plataformas. El intervención considera el nexo entre ciudades y plataformas como una especie de nueva capa de la digitalización de lo urbano impulsada por el urbanismo inteligente, se centra en los procesos de plataformización de la vida urbana y explora la idea del urbanismo de plataformas como un "más allá" de la ciudad inteligente.
